Terms of use

Last updated: 17 October 2026

Who we are

FounderXchange (founderxchange.com) is run by Mohamed Alaa Elkady in Cairo, Egypt. Contact: hello@founderxchange.com. By joining or sending a request you accept these terms.

Who can join

You must be 18 or over and give true details. One account per person. Your account is active once you confirm your email.

Guidance, not professional services

Sessions are practical guidance shared between founders and experts. They are not formal legal, financial, tax or accounting services, and FounderXchange is not a party to the advice given. Confirm important decisions with a licensed professional. Members who are not licensed lawyers must not present their help as legal advice.

Hours

Requests and scope

Every request uses a short brief that sets what the session covers; anything beyond it is a new request. We send it to up to 3 members, and any of them may decline. Sessions last 45 minutes on Google Meet.

Cancelling and no-shows

Paid expert sessions

Paid sessions are optional. The price is shown before you book. In Egypt they are paid by InstaPay or Vodafone Cash; outside Egypt we agree the payment method with you before you book. Cancel at least 24 hours before for a full refund. If the expert doesn't show up, you get a full refund. We send a receipt on request.

Experts

Experts confirm their email and answer 3 short questions before their first match. Legal and finance experts are also approved by our team, and legal sessions are given only by licensed lawyers. We may decline or remove any expert. Experts may offer members paid follow-up work directly, and pay FounderXchange a 10% referral fee on that work.

Confidentiality, recording and ownership

Keep what you learn about another member's business private, and ask for a short confidentiality agreement if you want one. Nobody may record a session without the other member's consent. The AI note taker joins only when both agree and leaves if either withdraws. Each member keeps ownership of what they bring; session notes belong to both members.

Conduct

Be on time and respectful. No selling to members who did not ask, no harassment, and no use of member details outside FounderXchange. We may pause or remove members who break these terms.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for advice given in sessions or for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

Disputes and law

Tell us first and we will try to resolve it within 30 days. These terms are governed by the laws of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we email members before it takes effect.
